Where do you ship from?

Our tea and teawares are shipped from San Francisco, California

We process orders every Wednesday and ship them out on Thursdays

What can you tell me about local pickup?

Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! We now offer local pickup in San Francisco for customers who prefer to skip shipping

Where is the pickup location?
Pickup is available at our studio near Ocean Beach in San Francisco.
Once your order is ready, we’ll send you an email with the exact address and pickup instructions

When will my order be ready for pickup?
Orders for local pickup are typically ready on Thursdays.
You’ll receive a notification as soon as your order is prepared and available

What are the pickup hours?
Pick-up is available by appointment.
Just reply to your ready-for-pickup email to schedule a time that works for you

How do I choose local pickup at checkout?
At checkout, simply select the “Local pickup” option instead of a shipping method

Is there a fee for local pickup?
No—local pickup is free!

Can someone else pick up my order for me?
Yes. If you’d like someone else to pick up your order, just let us know their name when you schedule your appointment

How long will you hold my order?
We’ll hold pickup orders for 14 days
If you need more time, just email us—we’re happy to accommodate when possible

Can I switch from pickup to shipping (or vice-versa) after placing my order?
In most cases, yes.
Email us at info@7sipstea.com as soon as possible, and we’ll help update your order

What should I bring when picking up my order?
Please bring your order confirmation email—either printed or on your phone

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to select countries. Shipping rates and delivery timeframes vary depending on the destination

To place an international order, please email us at info@7sipstea.com with the following details:

  • The items you'd like to order

  • Your full shipping address (including country and postal code)

  • Your preferred shipping method (if applicable)

  • Any questions or special instructions

We’ll get back to you with availability, shipping options, and a total cost

Please note that international customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees that may be charged upon delivery

Taxes & Duties Disclaimer (for International Orders)

Please note: All international orders are shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU)

This means:

  • Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included in the item price or shipping cost
  • These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and may be collected by your local customs authority or delivery provider upon arrival
  • We recommend checking with your country’s customs office to understand what additional costs may apply before placing your order
  • Refusing to pay duties or taxes may result in your package being returned, delayed, or abandoned. In such cases, shipping fees and return costs are non-refundable
Can I change or cancel my order?

If your order hasn't shipped yet, email us ASAP at info@7sipstea.com. We'll do our best to accommodate changes

How should I store my tea?

Store tea in a cool, dry place away from light and moisture. Airtight containers are best. Keep tea away from strong odors

Can I re-steep the tea?

Absolutely! All of our teas are ideal for multiple infusions. You can slightly increase the steep time with each brew or keep the same brea time and enjoy the subtle differences between steeps. The leaves will tell you when they're spent

Is your packaging environmentally friendly?

Yes! Our tea packaging, including labels, is 100% compostable. You can add the tea bags and packaging to your home compost or local green bin

We're working toward making all of our shipping materials sustainable. It's important to recognize that sustainability can be complex — especially when working with small producers around the world. Eco-friendly materials and systems can be expensive or difficult to access in many regions, and not all global supply chains are set up to support them

We're committed to doing better where we can, supporting our partners thoughtfully, and continually seeking more responsible choices as we grow

What’s the minimum for wholesale orders?

Our current wholesale minimum is $150. Bulk discounts are available

Shipping Information

Processing Time

Orders are processed on Wednesdays and ship Thursdays. You’ll receive an email confirmation with tracking once your order ships

Domestic Shipping (USA)

  • Delivery Time
    • Standard delivery typically takes 3–7 business days
  • Delivery Options
    • Flat rate – A simple, fixed-rate option that covers shipping materials, delivery, and tracking. This is usually the best choice for orders outside California
    • USPS Priority – If this option is less expensive than the flat rate at checkout, please feel free to choose it!

International Shipping

  • Delivery Time
    • Estimated delivery time is 7–21 business days, depending on your location and local customs processing
  • Duties, Taxes & Customs Fees
    • All international orders are shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), which means:
      • Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included in the item price or shipping cost
      • These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and may be collected by your country’s customs office or delivery provider upon arrival
      • We strongly recommend checking with your local customs office to understand what additional charges may apply
  • Refused or Undeliverable Packages
    • If you refuse to pay duties or taxes, your package may be returned, delayed, or abandoned
    • In such cases, shipping fees and return costs are non-refundable

     
    If a package is returned to us due to unpaid customs fees, we’ll refund the product cost only (excluding original shipping), minus any return shipping charges, once the item is received

Order Tracking

Once shipped, tracking details will be emailed. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking updates


Returns & Exchanges

Returns

  • Returns are accepted for unopened, unused, undamaged items within 14 days of delivery
  • Opened tea products cannot be returned for health and safety reasons
  • Email info@7sipstea.com with your order number and reason to initiate a return
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the error was ours

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Shipping fees are non-refundable

Exchanges

  • We offer exchanges for unopened items within 14 days
  • If you received the wrong or a damaged item, we’ll cover replacement shipping
  • To request an exchange, email info@7sipstea.com

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Received something wrong or damaged? Email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We’ll make it right!
