How do I brew my tea?

We recommend steeping your tea in hot water (temperature and time vary by tea type), or for cold brew, you can steep your tea in cold water for several hours for a smooth, refreshing flavor. For detailed brewing tips, visit our brewing instructions page

How do I compost my tea packaging?

Our tea packaging, including labels, is 100% compostable. You can simply add the packaging to your home compost or local green bin

What can you tell me about local pickup?

Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! We now offer local pickup in San Francisco for customers who prefer to skip shipping

Where is the pickup location?
Pickup is available at our studio near Ocean Beach in San Francisco.
Once your order is ready, we’ll send you an email with the exact address and pickup instructions

When will my order be ready for pickup?
Orders for local pickup are typically ready on Thursdays.
You’ll receive a notification as soon as your order is prepared and available

What are the pickup hours?
Pick-up is available by appointment.
Just reply to your ready-for-pickup email to schedule a time that works for you

How do I choose local pickup at checkout?
At checkout, simply select the “Local pickup” option instead of a shipping method

Is there a fee for local pickup?
No—local pickup is free!

Can someone else pick up my order for me?
Yes. If you’d like someone else to pick up your order, just let us know their name when you schedule your appointment

How long will you hold my order?
We’ll hold pickup orders for 14 days

Can I switch from pickup to shipping (or vice-versa) after placing my order?
In most cases, yes.

Orders are processed on Wednesdays and ship Thursdays. You’ll receive an email confirmation with tracking once your order ships

What's your return policy?
